Possessing a hunter-minded approach to business development, successful candidate will be responsible for identifying current and future customer service requirements; conducting background research on clients and their businesses; assisting in the sale of exhibit products; providing service and recommendations to all aspects of the account; ensuring that client expectations are met. 


Build Client Relationships     

•    Cold calling and scheduling appointments for sales reps
•    Identifying future customer service requirements by establishing rapport with clients
•    Developing campaign strategies, preparing and presenting proposals, concepts, storyboards, etc.
•    Assisting in the sale of exhibits, attending shows as required
•    Identifying new business opportunities and product opportunities
•    Prospect for additional business through new and existing business
•    Qualify leads and schedule meetings for sales reps

Service Client Accounts   

•    Discuss with client to determine client objectives and requirements
•    Answering questions and requests
•    Maintain regular communication with customers
•    Providing client with recommendations and solutions
•    Assisting Account Executives
•    Ensuring quality service delivery and professional standards
•    Maintain current and accurate database of clients

Prepare Reports

•    Collecting, analyzing and summarizing account information and trends
•    Maintain funnel
•    Complete necessary sales forms
•    Prepare final client contract, obtain approvals and deposit


•    Attending internal pre and post sales meetings
•    Obtain client budget and design parametres and enter design/quote docket
•    Interacting with company employees
•    Facilitate change orders/modifications as needed
•    Follow-up on overdue receivables
•    Chair meetings taking place within Sales process

Social Media   

•    Maintain regular research and do postings on social sites (as appropriate)
•    Monitor click-through rates and maximize dollar return for money invested
•    Maintain a blog


•    E-blasts monthly with suggested specials and/or upsells
•    Come up with ideas for marketing initiatives to present to President
•    Development and/or input on cold calling dialogue, social media content, etc.
•    Attend trade events as required
•    SEO activities (strategize ways to get higher in the searches


•    Previous experience in trade show industry
•    College degree in marketing, communication, public relations or a related discipline preferred
•    Excellent organizational skills

•    Minimum 2 years Account Management experience
