South African Tourism - Scan Display
35 x 50 island exhibit
Objective
Scan Display reached out to stevens E3 to see about working in a partnership to provide a solution for South African Tourism at the annual IMEX Exhibition held in Las Vegas. The objective was to create a large, cost-effective pavilion that allowed for meeting space, distribution of promotional items, a central hub for navigation and multiple meeting areas for exhibitor participants to meet with prospective attendees to promote tourism for their particular region or firm. Large visuals of Africa were needed to create the look and feel to distinguish the exhibit as uniquely South Africa.
Solution
To keep within cost constraints, stevensE3 developed a system solution to the pavilion that allowed for speed of assembly, use of large backlit graphics and a light-weight solution. A central round reception allowed for greeting attendees and directing them to various exhibitors within the pavilion or offering them refreshments. A theatre was designed to allow for multiple participants to hear about specific seminar topics about South African Tourism. Multiple semi-private meeting spaces were set-up around the perimetre to house the vast number of visitors that would come to the stand. Some customization was required to integrate the interesting angles, but the result was a very happy client and a successful event.
